Gold kiwifruit gold returns
This orchard has had some committed management from its owners for the past few years getting it to a standard where it is now ready to make the financial leap to a great orchard. Fastidious work ethic and daily grind has meant that any new owners will be able to walk into an opportunity filled production block. The G3 canopy is two hectares total. 1.5 hectares is effective and the other .5 is grafted and ready to go in the coming seasons. The Hayward is 2.11 can/ha. There is good flowering on the hayward and great counts of set fruit for the G3 can be seen on the vines. Both bees and additional artificial pollination has been employed to insure success. There is an elevated mixing tank midway on the property and a good load out area. New Ag-beam has been put in place to 85-90% of the orchard and broken end structures have been replaced. Te Puke is the undisputed Kiwifruit capital of the world and the TZG figures from this orchard at a solid .86 last season reflect both the soil and climatic growing conditions that makes Te Puke so famous. There is also a one
hectare block of pruned pinus radiata ready for milling and a further area of plantable land. Good water and sun orientation make this a great investment for the future in mind. Only 10km back to Te Puke this is a convenient block to add to your portfolio.
